In the gallery, there are two rooms connected by a sliding door. When this door is open it seems to disappear in the wall. People may enter this room also via the corridor. When all three doors are open, there is small isolated wall (see the ground plan). The object “Portrait of the Room“ rotates through all these doors embracing this little piece of wall on eye-level.

It seems that the object keeps the two rooms together. This voluminous tire blocks the entrance to the exhibition. The emptiness of the rooms forces the recipient to take a position to the object. The spotlights, which hang deeper than usual, and the curtains intensify the concentration point to the object.
